Ordpin's terms and policies

Last updated: 2026/10/09

This page explains, in plain language, the rules for using Ordpin. By using the platform, topping up your balance or booking a domain through it, you accept all of these terms and policies.

  • Ordpin is the legal owner of domains booked through it and of the dashboards; you are a tenant of its services.
  • You pay a fee only for each successful order: a published percentage of the items value.
  • A domain is paid from your real balance, is not refundable once registered, and renews every year.
  • Welcome and incentive credit pay for order fees only, and they expire.
  • The Ordpin team may suspend an account that is abused.
  • For your customers' data you are the controller and Ordpin your processor, under the Data Processing Agreement.
  • The taxes on your sales are yours; where certified cash registers are required, Ordpin's till prints non-fiscal receipts.

1.Who provides Ordpin

Ordpin (“Ordpin”, “we”) is an online service provided by its operator to businesses in the countries where sign-up is open. These terms are an agreement between the business that opens an account (“you”, the client) and Ordpin; whoever signs up confirms they may act for the business.

Ordpin is a service for businesses: you use it for your trade, so rules that protect only consumers do not apply between you and Ordpin, except where the law says otherwise.

2.The service and your account

Ordpin gives restaurants, cafés, markets and shops (the "client") an online store and a dashboard to receive and manage their customers' orders.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your business details, products and prices, for fulfilling your customers' orders and dealing with them, and for keeping your own and your staff's passwords secret.

3.Your customers and the Ordpin app

A customer who signs in to order from your store becomes an Ordpin customer, with one account that works in every store on the platform. Your dashboard shows their orders with you and the details needed to fulfil them; customer accounts and sign-in data stay with Ordpin.

Your store appears by default in the Ordpin app and on the store discovery pages under its category, and customers order through them on the same order terms and fees. You can hide your store from the app in your dashboard at any time, and the Ordpin team may hide it too.

Use customers' details only to fulfil their orders: not for marketing without their consent, and never pass them on to others.

4.Your customers' data

For the personal data of your customers and staff that you handle through Ordpin, you are the controller and Ordpin processes it on your behalf. The Data Processing Agreement at ordpin.com/dpa is part of these terms and applies wherever data-protection law requires one, such as the GDPR.

Ordpin's customer accounts, device records, statistics and fraud prevention are Ordpin's own responsibility, as the privacy policy explains.

5.Who owns the platform and the domains

Ordpin is the legal owner of the platform, the dashboards, the online stores and all the software they run on. Your subscription gives you the right to use these services while your account is active; it does not transfer ownership of any of them to you.

Domains booked through Ordpin are registered in Ordpin's name, so Ordpin is their legal owner (registrant). You are a tenant of the domain as part of Ordpin's services: your store and dashboard run on it while its fees are paid and your account is active.

Because the domain is registered in Ordpin's name, moving it elsewhere requires an agreement with Ordpin.

6.Order fees and your real balance

You pay Ordpin a fee for each successful order only, charged on the items value after any discount and excluding delivery and shipping, under the published rule for your business type: a fixed amount, a percentage, or a percentage below a threshold and a fixed amount from the threshold up. Your rule shows in your wallet. The fee is held from your balance when an order arrives, deducted when the order is completed, and returned if the order is rejected, cancelled or times out; if the order is edited before completion, its fee follows the new value.

Your "real balance" is what you top up with your own money. New orders pause when your balance can't cover the fee of one order, and resume automatically after a top-up.

Ordpin may change its fee rules in the future, for a business type or for one business; a change never applies to orders that arrived before it, and every order keeps the rule it was placed under.

7.Welcome and incentive credit

Welcome credit (granted when your account is activated) and incentive credit (such as rewards for inviting clients) are free credit given by Ordpin.

This credit pays for order fees only: it can't be withdrawn, transferred, or used to pay for a domain or its renewal.

Each free credit has a validity period and whatever is left expires on time. The expiry date shows in your wallet.

8.Custom domains

A domain is paid from your real balance only, and the amount is taken as soon as you confirm the booking. If the domain can't be registered, the full amount goes back to your real balance.

Domain fees are not refundable once the domain is registered.

Renewal is manual: we never renew the domain or charge anything without your request. 30 days before the paid period ends, a renewal notice appears in your dashboard, and you can renew during that time from your real balance at the price in effect at renewal time.

If the domain isn't renewed by the end of the paid period, it ends and stops working, and it can't be restored or renewed afterwards. The domain may then be released and become available to others; you can book a new one.

Premium names can't be booked, and each store has one live domain.

9.Inviting clients

When a new client signs up with your invitation link and their real top-ups reach the minimum set by Ordpin, you receive a reward in incentive credit — once per client.

Inviting yourself or your other accounts doesn't count, and Ordpin may cancel rewards obtained through abuse.

Ordpin may change the reward and its conditions or stop the program at any time; this never affects rewards already granted.

10.Taxes, receipts and cash registers

You are responsible for the taxes on your sales and for applying the right rates. The tax settings Ordpin suggests for your country are only a starting point.

Where the law requires certified cash registers or fiscal receipts (for example in Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal or Saudi Arabia), Ordpin's till prints non-fiscal receipts and does not replace a certified system. You confirm this before your first shift, and Ordpin may limit or switch off the till in a country.

Ordpin's fees are charged without tax. If you are registered for VAT or a similar tax, you account for any tax due on them where the law requires it, for example under the reverse charge in the European Union.

11.Acceptable use and suspension

The Ordpin team may suspend an account or pause a store in case of abuse, such as selling anything illegal, defrauding customers, manipulating orders, balances or the referral program, or providing misleading information.

While suspended, the store takes no orders. We contact you to explain why and reactivate the account once the issue is resolved.

12.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and publish the new version on this page with its date. Using Ordpin after an update means you accept it.

13.Languages of these terms

These terms are written in English, Arabic and Kurdish and translated by machine into other languages. If the versions differ, the English version prevails.

14.Applicable rules and disputes

These terms are not governed by the law of any particular country. They are read in good faith according to the generally accepted principles of international trade (the UNIDROIT Principles of International Commercial Contracts), and the mandatory rules of your country keep applying to you wherever they apply.

If a disagreement arises, write to us through the support form and we will try to settle it amicably within 30 days. What cannot be settled goes to online mediation or arbitration before a body both sides agree on, unless the mandatory law of your country gives you the right to go to its courts.
